Brief description of Event (character limit 250 max):
The Brodhead Watershed Association, in conjunction with the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau, Glenbrook Golf Club, and Pocono Heritage Land Trust will be hosting an educational presentation on Audubon Golf Course Certification. Golf Course Owners, Greens Management
and Superintendents in the Poconos are encouraged to attend, but others who support the “green golf movement” are welcome to RSVP. “The Audubon Cooperative Sancturary Program for Golf Courses (ACSP-Golf) is an award winning education and certification program that helps golf courses protect our environment and preserve the natural heritage of the game of golf. The program helps golf officials enhance the valuable natural areas and wildlife habitats that golf courses provide, improve efficiency, and minimize potentially harmful impacts of golf operations.”
